A Little History about False Eyelashes
False Eyelashes were invented in 1916 by D.W. Griffith, the American Film Director.

Mr. Griffith invented false eyelashes for actress Seena Owen who starred in his epic, "Intolerance". He wanted her eyelashes to be so long and romantic that they would brush her cheeks when she blinked.

However, False Eyelashes did not became universally popular until the 1960s.
