The lady who owned this bag before me believes this to be from the 50s/60s. She found it in a vintage shop and it contained some old currency from the 50s, left in an internal pocket, along with an old black and white photograph from around the same time. It is in faux leather and has beautiful mother of pearl detail to the front with some silver stalk and leave detailing. The frame and clasp are silver tone.
It is in excellent vintage condition. The interior tan faux suede lining is in clean condition with no staining. The internal pocket has some small blue smudges on it. The handles are unworn and turn freely on the decorative rivets. The clasp is in perfect working order and overall this elegant bag is a wonderful timeless piece of history.
